As a licensed therapist serving clients in both Alaska and Virginia, I specialize in working with youth and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and significant life transitions. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices that foster meaningful, lasting change.
I believe therapy is a collaborative and transformative process—one that empowers individuals to explore their experiences, reclaim their strengths, and move toward the future they envision. I utilize a dynamic, integrative framework informed by the latest research in trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and the mind-body connection. My work often incorporates experiential and strength-based interventions designed to support healing, clarity, and resilience.
With a deep respect for each person’s unique story, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My therapeutic style is authentic and relational, shaped by real-life experience and clinical expertise.
Before becoming a therapist, I served for six years in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer, stationed at various locations. That chapter of my life profoundly influenced my understanding of adversity, identity, and the human capacity for resilience. As a mother of three, I also bring a grounded, compassionate perspective to supporting individuals through the many emotional demands of life and family.
What drives me is the belief that while we may not have control over our past or certain circumstances, we always have the ability to heal, grow, and create new paths forward—first for ourselves, and then in how we show up for others.
